The owners had a vision and brought forward ideas we had never executed before, so we partnered with specialists to engineer practical solutions without losing sight of the look they wanted.
One example is the cutout shelf beneath the island bench. Creating this feature required internal steel reinforcing above and below the shelf to keep the structure solid while maintaining a clean finish. Another challenge was the angled walls in the large butler’s pantry. We custom built cupboards that open and operate smoothly on both the acute and obtuse angled sides.
The home includes a wide range of thoughtful details, including a large waterfall-style stone benchtop with impressive length and depth, a black sink with matching tapware, bronze handles and accents, and a series of purpose-built nooks and cutouts that make use of every bit of space.
We also installed a striking vanity in the ensuite, complete with double sinks, bronze taps and handles, and a rounded rectangular mirror cabinet. The TV unit was another feature that ties the home together. It carries the same kitchen styling and aesthetic, sits cleanly against a stone fireplace, and provides deep, practical storage.
Credit goes to the talented owner-builders as well, who added standout aesthetic features such as the timber dowel wall. The result is a beautifully resolved, highly functional interior shaped by creativity, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
